Machockie is a custom built, detached house located in Old East York. Following the demolition of the existing bungalow, both the north and south sides of the property were shored to accommodate the 9 ft. deep basement.
The two-storey house designed by Gabe Guiducci, is fully clad in mixed-tone red brick with black ACM-wrapped canopies and window box. The interior features a stunning mix of modern and traditional light and dark-toned finishes. On the second floor there are three-bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cozy tv lounge that overlooks the double-height piano room below.
The HVAC system includes a high-efficiency boiler forced-air system with a heat-pump AC unit. Radiant in-floor heating keeps the basement recreation room comfortable in the cooler months.
